Embedded Electronic Design Services

We offer both hardware/software design and development services, which includes PCB layout and BOM generation.  We focus on developing robust, cost effective, 8-bit, real-time, embedded microcontroller designs for your interesting applications.  The mindset is to evaluate the need/system variables, make tradeoffs between hardware versus software, and develop an excellent solution. The ultimate goal is to take your ideas mixed with our talent and creativity to do something great together.

Engineering Artisan is a Microchip Partner.

Mission Statement

Engineering Artisan's mission is to creatively develop practical solutions by applying solid engineering fundamentals while embracing a craftsman's approach to detail, quality, and appearance.

Company History

I have been an Electrical Engineer for 28 years plus possess mechanical aptitude.  I am passionate about what I design and how it gets done.  As a result, Engineering Artisan was established to turn my ideas into products, and provide an avenue to channel my creative, but practical, approach to engineering.

In July 2007, the first product released was V-Rod ForeArms, which are passenger peg relocation arms for V-Rods.  The ForeArms were conceived so that my 2007 VRSCAW would be comfortable for my wife (my 1988 FXRT set the comfort standard for her).   The prototype design proved to be functional, possessed a stealthy appearance, and flowed well with the V-Rod's lines.  My wife joking refers to the ForeArms as "marriage extenders".

In 2008, I helped a few friends with projects/launching products, and decided to offer Embedded Electronic Design/Development Services, which merges my education and experience with my interests.
